This is one of the areas of Nepal that Westerners are familiar with as many use this town as a staging post before beginning some of the more popular Himalayan treks. What they may be less familiar with is the extreme challenges that many children from local communities face here. This centre has been operating successfully since 2009 and we were delighted to attend an opening ceremony in early 2009. We look forward to updating our supporters on the admission numbers soon.
